Frank Blakeney Meacham, III, 28, of Weldon died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Frank was born November 18, 1979, the son of Frank B. Meacham, Jr. and Julia Myrick Meacham. He was a 1999 graduate of Halifax Academy and attended East Carolina University.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty Exum Kidd, Warline Myrick, Frank Blakeney Meacham, Sr. and Mary Lois Parker Meacham.

Frank is survived by his parents; one brother, Roger Jenkins, of Richmond, VA; one niece, Holly Jenkins; one nephew, Brayson Jenkins; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Askew Funeral & Cremation Services is handling the arrangements, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2008 at Weldon Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Harry Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
